"I didn't drink coffee, I didn't want to be a coffee salesman," said Brett Shoemaker, recalling when his good friend Abbey Ikeola showed him the business.
"I was completely against it," admitted Michelle Shoemaker. "Brett was working another [networking] business, and for the time he was investing, the money wasn't there." At the time, Michelle was pregnant with their second son and about t o go on maternity leave. With money tight and about to get tighter, she just wanted Brett to get a job.
The Ikeolas kept in touch though and Brett took another look at the business. But this time, "What really piqued my interest was the amount of money my friend was making in a short period of time," he said. "I knew it was possible to make the income very quickly, and I knew it was duplicatable." He decided to sign up. "My goal was to make five thousand dollars the first month. I actually had a five figure month! That's what you called forced believability." After ten weeks in the business, Michelle was able to quit her job and spend full time with her newborn son. "That's really what the money provides," she said. "Freedom to do what you want to do, when you want to do it."
