When his friend Edwin Haynes called to tell him about the company he and Holton Buggs were helping  to launch, Joseph Wilson said, "Ed, don't you know I don't drink coffee? Coffee makes you dumb, and I don't want to be dumb in my old age."

A minister for over 20 years and pastor of a church for over 13 years, Joe Wilson has traveled extensively, spreading the faith in Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and many other places, often through medical missions, bringing doctors and medicine to remote areas. Nevertheless, he found time to participate in several networking businesses with Ed Haynes and Holton Buggs. That's why he agreed to travel from Jamaica to Houston to hear the pitch.

"I never knew anything about the coffee industry, so I didn't know what it was going to be like," he said. "What I saw was that people will always be drinking coffee, and if I could get into this market, have people drinking my coffee and feeling good, that I would be earning income for the rest of my life." He joined the original distributor team in October, 2008, and reached Diamond in about two years.
